tribtown > Scott Carr of Seymour joined about 10 other members of American Legion Riders 89 on Saturday and Sunday in an effort to refurbish and repaint the Sherman Tank that has been sitting on the lawn of the Jackson County Courthouse since 1958. About 48,000 Sherman tanks were built and put into service during World War II.
