tribtown > Bill Black of North Vernon, left, and his wife, Dawn Black were one of the many visitors to the inaugural Taste of Wine event, sponsored by the Jackson County chapter of the American Red Cross and held at Ael Beka Estates, Brownstown. The Blacks visited the event with their friend George Mansfield of Seymour, third from left and his wife, Tiffany Mansfield (not pictured). Jim Pfeiffer with Turtle Creek Winery, who is pouring a sample, said the event was a great way to get the word about the wines made by his winery.
