Some members of the 2-152 Reconnaissance and Surveillance Calvary Squadron (airborne spent Wednesday morning practicing parachute drops from Blackhawk helicopters at Freeman Field in Seymour. The squadron, also known as Charlie Company, is a component of the Indiana National Guard's newly activated 219th Battlefield Surveillance Battalion, which is headquartered at Camp Atterbury. Two Blackhawks were brought in from the guard's Shelbyville facility for the exercise, which involves 48 parachute drops.
