The walls of St. David'sÊEpiscopal Church were covered in 300 cards expressing love and support from all over the world as around 85 people made their way into the sanctuary for a Wednesday night service Nov. 16. On Nov. 13, before the start of the Sunday morning service, the St. David's congregation arrived to find hate spray painted on the outside walls of their church in the form ofÊswastika, an anti-gay slur and the phrase ÒHeil Trump." The 300 cards came from messages that arrived from all over the country and the world, some coming as far from Australia, in emails, Facebook posts and voicemails.
