Tribune photo by Aaron Piper/ A newly added portion of the AIDS Memorial Quilt was on display at the Community Foundation of Jackson County building on Wednesday during the World AIDS Day program. The piece is in memory of Seymour resident J.R. Peters, who died by complications brought on by AIDS in 2005. The quilt section was sewn by his mother, Betty Peters, and family friend Elizabeth Monette.
