Tribune photo by Aubrey Woods/ Dave Vehslage and his wife, Becky Vehslage, both of Brownstown, discuss some of their concerns with a request for a special exception that would allow for two 4,00-head hog barns at 1502 W. 300N, Seymour. James Lucas and his son, Matthew Lucas, both of Freetown presented that request to the county of Board of Zoning Appeals during its meeting Tuesday at the courthouse in Brownstown. The Lucases, however, were told they needed to begin the application process over after failing to meet a board requirement concerning notification of property owners.
