A check for $1,405 was donated Wednesday morning to help continue the Girls Inc. after school program held at Crothersville Elementary School. The program, overseen by Matt Otte, exposes young girls to new opportunities, allows them to learn life skills and also receive homework help. Donors included Cerrowire, Aisin Drivetrain Inc., Wischmeier Trucking Inc., Great American Insurance Group and Crothersville Elementary School. Pictured is Crothersville Elementary Principal Chris Marshall who handed the check to Jackson County's Girls Inc. Director Brenda Tracy.
